Advance Time to Determine Injection and Flushing Times in Drip Fertigation

چکیده

Drip fertigation has shown unquestionable benefits in recent decades compared to traditional farming fertilization practices. However, a fertilizer dissolved the irrigation water must be evenly distributed fertigated area. Irrigation system and characteristics operational management potentially affect uniformity of distribution. Advance time (AT), which is an intrinsic determinable characteristic system, not been assessed as useful technical criterion for managing distribution drip fertigation. The objective this study was assess use advance determining duration injection flushing that provides satisfactory spatial Therefore, potassium chloride (KCl) evaluated at six times equivalent 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200% AT, two 100 AT through Christiansen’s coefficient (CU) (DU). used had 10 strips with 12.5 m length, flow rate 1.40 L h−1 per dripper, min. solution prepared 40 g L−1 KCl. results indicate KCl improved significantly increasing time. promoted greatest CU 0.977 DU 0.962. 100% sufficient rinse 0.983. In both tests, satisfactory, 0.988 0.982 (average). more way fertilizer.

Subsurface Drip Nitrogen Fertigation of Corn

The efficient management of nitrogen (N) fertilizer and irrigation is of utmost importance because they are two of the greatest expenses for corn production. This project was conducted to determine if yield and efficiency of fertilizer N in corn could be improved by applying N at later developmental stages through a subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) system. Experiments in 2014 and 2015 compared ...

Trends in Salinities and Flushing times of Georgia Estuaries

From 1973-1992, the Georgia EPD sponsored a monitoring program in which surface salinities were sampled regularly at fixed stations in many of Georgia’s estuaries. We used these data to examine changes in the salinities and flushing times of the Savannah, Ogeechee, Altamaha, Satilla, and St. Marys estuaries over the period of record. Water-year average salinities increased slightly over time in...

Assessing Nitrogen Fertigation Strategies for Drip Irrigated Sugarcane in Southern Africa

Standard nutritional advice for irrigated sugarcane in South Africa and Swaziland is based on soil sample analysis and threshold values that have been determined experimentally over many years with surface-applied fertilisers. Fertilisers are normally applied in solid form during the early stages of crop development and watered in by the next irrigation cycle. The increasing popularity of subsu...

Drip fertigation effects on yield, nutrient uptake and soil fertility of Bt Cotton in semi arid tropics

Field experiment was conducted for 2 seasons to study the influence of drip fertigation in combination with or without bio fertilizers on yield, plant uptake and soil fertility of Bt cotton. The treatments comprised of four levels of drip fertigation viz., 75, 100, 125 and 150 per cent of recommended dose of fertilizers (RDF, NPK) combined with and without bio fertilizers, drip irrigation w...
